Someone leaked a factory test ROM for the GBA, and it doesn't fully pass on anything but original hardware last I checked. Still, using original hardware definitely has an appeal. Plus, loading GameCube ISOs from an SD Gecko is a pretty poor experience, with games suffering from many issues as a result of the limited speed of the memory card slots. Maybe this will change when drive replacements are made (which I suspect will happen in the coming years), but at the moment, it is rather annoying.
